I am creating this blog as a way to organize alot of different unrelated stuff I do, and post about it. Just a bit of the stuff I will be blogging about will include Photography, Travel, Sea kayaking, Mountain Biking, Piano, Cisco Networking (including my pursuit of the CCIE Storage lab), and other miscellaneous ramblings. This is all running under my own install of WordPress, which is running on a server I built. The server is a Chenbro RM214 2U server chassis with an Intel SE7501BR2 motherboard, 8GB of PC2100, 6 x 72GB U160 drives on a Adaptec 2120S RAID controller, all running under VMware ESXi.
About this blog
This blog is mostly about my pursuits in Data Science. Previous blog entries also dealt with storage, compute, virtualization and professional services. Currently the focus is on Data Science, including Big Data, Hadoop, Business Intelligence, Data Warehouse, Data Integration and Visualization.
